Receptionist Job Description:
Responsible for welcoming clients and visitors by greeting them in person or over the phone answering inquires, referring to the appropriate person, scheduling, and checking clients in. Engages in a trauma informed manner with all clients and visitors ensuring that clients and visitors are treated with respect and the environment is comfortable and trauma informed. Works with the Director of Clinical Operations, Executive Director, and Intake Coordinator on managing waitlists.
 
Duties:
 
• Collects copays and deductibles for services.
• Answers phone and completes reminder phone calls for appointments.
• Make copies as needed, fax documents for clinical staff, mail documents as needed, print encounter forms.
• Responsible for organization of the waiting room and ensuring coffee is made.
• Gathers all necessary insurance information and enters this accurately into the scheduling and billing software program.
• Works collaboratively with the fiscal, billing, and medical records specialist.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
 
 
Requisite education, skills, and experience:
 
Qualified candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Has experience in an office setting, including secretarial and receptionist duties. Current valid driver’s license and vehicle routinely available for errands. Personal attributes include maturity, responsible, respectful and polite, must understand confidentiality, neat in appearance and welcoming, able to work independently, able to initiate ideas for program improvement, dependable. Skills necessary to perform the job well include organization, ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, effective time management, including task prioritization. Computer skills (or demonstrated ability to learn) include data base, spread sheet, and word processing on Microsoft Work/Excel, etc. Office machine operation and routine care include keyboard/computer, fax, printer, scanner, copier, multi-line telephone.

 

LCSW/LPC Job Description:

LCSW/LPC responsible for providing direct trauma informed clinical counseling to a variety of assigned clients in both the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services program at Family Services of Warren County, Inc.  Reports directly to the Director of Clinical Operations and is responsible to provide high quality trauma informed therapeutic services to those in need.  Must have the ability to work well with others, work within a team environment, as well as independently.  Knowledge of evidenced based and trauma informed clinical interventions, and have the ability to implement those interventions with skill.

Clinical Duties

  • Provide evidenced based and trauma informed evaluations and treatment to an assigned caseload.
  • Maintain a caseload, review acuity level and triage all recipient needs according to clinical need/medical necessity.
  • Provide group education and intervention services as assigned.
  • Complete all clinical paperwork and paperwork for securing payment from clients and third party sources.
  • Attend agency staff meetings with clinical staff and/or supervisory sessions as required.
  • Participate in professional development activities related to maintenance of licensure and quality service delivery.
  • Maintains electronic medical record requirements, paper charts, and coordinates care according to industry standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requisite education, skills, and experience:

Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in a Human Services field such as Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, etc.  State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed  Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania REQUIRED.
